Mobile Text Banking works on all text-enabled phones. It doesn't matter what kind of cell phone you have, as long as you can send and receive text messages.

Getting started with Mobile Text Banking is easy. All you need is access to online banking. Don't have it? Contact your nearest branch to sign up today.

If you're already an online banking user:

  1. Login to your online banking account and click on mobile banking
  2. Enter your mobile phone information
  3. You'll receive a text message with your passcode
  4. Confirm your passcode and select the accounts you want to access with mobile banking


Once you've signed up, it's easy to use.

Common Mobile Text Banking Commands

Once you have signed up for Mobile Text Banking, text message any of the below commands to 66639 (MONEY). A few seconds later, you'll receive the requested account information on your cell phone.

  • ACT - To access the account activity of your primary account
  • ACT <account nickname> - To access the account activity of a specific account (ie. SAV1, SAV2)
  • BAL - To access the balance of your primary account
  • BAL ALL - To access the balances of all your accounts
  • BAL <account nickname> - To access the balance of a specific account
  • DISABLE - To temporarily disable your phone
  • HELP - To access a list of the commands you can use
  • INFO - To access contact info about your Credit Union
  • STOP - To permanently delete a phone from accessing the Mobile Text Banking function


And, to make it even easier, you can save the short code 66639 in your phone for quick and easy access. You can even save your text messages and simply resend for future use.

Mobile Text Banking is Secure

 We've taken extra measures to ensure your information is secure:

  • The only information that is transmitted is your account balance or your recent account activity.  Even if you lose your phone, no one will be able to make changes or withdrawals from your account.  And, in the event you lose your phone, cancelling this service is quick and easy.
  • No personal information ever appears in your text message.
  • Your account and member numbers are never transmitted to your mobile phone.
  • You never have to enter your Personal Access Code (PAC) or PIN number, so there is no risk that these numbers will ever be known.

Mobile Text Banking will work on most mobile phones that are less than 5 years old and support text messaging. However, if you are experiencing problems, please check with your carrier for details on fees, accessibility, and delivery time.
With Mobile Text Banking, you can see the account balance and recent transaction history of any account you set up.
There is no cost to use Mobile Text Banking at this time. Please check with your mobile carrier for information on any charges for sending and receiving text messages that are applicable to you.

Getting started is easy. If you have a mobile phone that supports text messaging and Online Banking access, registering is as simple as 1, 2, 3:

  1. Log in to Online Banking
  2. Register your mobile phone
  3. Select your accounts and confirm your Passcode.
Yes, your personal information is as secure in Mobile Text Banking as Online Banking.
If you have temporarily misplaced your mobile phone (e.g. you left it at work), you can Disable Text Banking by visiting the Mobile Banking Preferences page within Online Banking. Once you locate your mobile phone, simply go online and Enable the feature again.
If you have lost your mobile phone or if it was stolen, please follow your mobile carrier's recommended procedures for this scenario and contact your mobile carrier immediately. You can further delete your mobile phone completely from Mobile Text Banking by visiting the Mobile Banking Preferences page within Online Banking.
This service is designed to work on mobile phones from a Canadian mobile carrier on a Canadian mobile network. However, if your Canadian mobile carrier has a roaming agreement with a foreign carrier, you can expect Mobile Text Banking to work. However, please note that when the service is used outside of Canada it is on a best efforts basis only.
As a security precaution, Mobile Text Banking is set to Disabled status. Please send a text keyword command and you will receive instructions that will guide you on how to Enable your mobile phone.
